Lavender Essential Oil For Insomnia
Lavender oil has always been one of my favourite essential oils, not just because it smells nice, but for it's therapeutic value. The scent of lavender can aid in easing insomnia. Studies have found that lavender increases slow-wave sleep, the very deep sleep when the heartbeat slows down and muscles relax. As someone who has suffered on and off for almost a decade with periods of extreme insomnia, I have found the use of lavender oil extremely helpful. I have made a spray which I lightly spritz on my sheets and pillow before going to bed. So easy and highly beneficial!
4 oz. spray bottle, washed
Young Living's Lavender Essential Oil.
Fill the spray bottle almost to the top with purified water, add 15 drops of Young Living's Lavender Essential Oil.
