Lemon-Honey Salmon in Foil Recipe


Lemon-Honey Salmon in Foil Serves 4 Salmon is one of my favourite foods. It is rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids, which provide many health benefits, including support for the cardiovascular, nervous, and immune systems. Salmon is also packed with vitamins A, B and D as well as calcium and iron. Preparing the salmon in foil helps to seal in moisture, and makes clean-up a snap! Sautéed spinach or kale would be a delicious side dish. • 1/4 Cup Pure Honey • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil • 2 Tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice • 4 (4 oz) Salmon Fillets • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Thyme Leaves 1. Preheat the oven to 375º. 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and thyme. 3. Place each salmon fillet onto a square of foil. 4. Divide the honey mixture between each fillet. 5. Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering completely and sealing the packet closed. 6. Place the salmon fillets onto a baking sheet, bake until cooked through, about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is easily flaked with a fork. 7. Serve immediately.
